Key Responsibilities
- Administratively support all aspects of the buying process.
- Ensure timely placement of orders onto the purchasing system.
- Maintain a control system for the sample room.
- Compile, balance, and update spreadsheets and reports.
- Maintain quality assurance control and conduct audits of samples.
- Prepare all materials prior to presentations.
- Complete all administrative documentation related to loading products into the TFG system.
- Build constructive and mutually beneficial relationships with suppliers.
- Communicate with suppliers to gather all necessary information to load products.
- Process amendments and communicate changes to relevant parties.
- Support the customer service team in resolving product and order queries, complaints, and sourcing and pricing inquiries.
- Manage orders through the critical path process.
- Pull weekly reports on incoming stock and liaise with suppliers for sample management.
- Manage sample process between retail and production.
- Prepare product and documents for quarterly SWOT analyses.
- Conduct competitive shop analysis independently.
- Pull samples/images for weekly sales reports or product meetings as requested by the buyer.
- Assist buyers with order placements.
- Maintain the retail sample room.
- Assist with coordination of QA samples.
Qualifications And Experience
- Matric, Higher Certificate, or Diploma.
- Over 5 years of buying admin experience.
- Understanding of the clothing retail cycle and buying process.
- Proficiency in current computer software packages (Excel, Word, Email).
