Our client is seeking an Assistant Buyer with 2-3 years of experience in local and international purchasing. Experience with electrical, lighting, or construction industry products is essential.

• 2-3 years’ experience as an Assistant Buyer
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure
• Team player with the ability to work independently when required
• Clear credit and criminal record

Key Responsibilities:

• Ordering stock based on MOQ and client requirements
• Building and maintaining supplier relationships
• Price negotiations
• Tracking ETAs and supplier deliveries, and communicating feedback to the sales team or procurement manager
• Collaborating with the finance department to ensure supplier invoices are processed and addressing creditor queries
