Job description

Manufacture machine parts using the turning and lathe machine. Assist the maintenance fitter or electrician as instructed with welding, stripping, fitting, cleaning components, cutting, assembling, painting, etc. Ensure suitable moving equipment (Front-end loader, reach truck, forklift, etc.) is available. Full adherence to safety standards. Accurately complete all necessary documentation on time.

Qualification

Grade 12. Qualified Fitter / relevant trade test certificate with a minimum of N3 - an advantage.

Experience Required

2 years of experience in maintenance. Experience in operating and maintaining other equipment (e.g., conveyors, pumps, pipelines, boilers, etc.). Practical knowledge and experience of lathe work (turning), welding, and machining.
