Key Responsibilities :
- Reference check and reconciliation of stores
- Maintain data integrity for all stores in the lease database (Lease Eagle)
- Review lease related documentation to ensure compliance
- Occasional preparation of retail leases and subleases and assisting the Lease Administrators
- Interpret lease agreements working in an autonomous and detailed manner
- Record and track all dealings and maintain lease reports and systems
- Implement best practice within the department surrounding all lease administration issues
- Liaising and coordinating all departments to ensure a smooth store opening transaction
- Be conscious of new ideas to reduce costs and make more efficient use of time
Business Operations :
- Knowledge of the property industry with capacity to understand and interpret lease contracts, understand legal terminology and the obligations of both tenants and landlords
- Intermediate to advanced MSOffice skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and pro-actively in a close team environment
- A quest for excellence, high attention to detail, accuracy, consistency and organization
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Able to multi-task efficiently and effectively
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure to meet business requirements and objectives

To be successful in this role you demonstrate :
- Experience in a similar fast paced Finance / Accounts Payable position
- Intermediate skills using Microsoft Office Suite, in particular Excel
- A passionate and team orientated individual
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to engage with stakeholders
- Ability to prioritize and meet conflicting deadlines
- Experience with a property management software application (preferably Lease Eagle)
