Assistant Accountant

Job Location: Gauteng, Centurion

Key Performance Areas:

1. Responsible for monthly reconciliations, including:

• Preparation
• Clearing unresolved issues
• Red flag issues and escalation of issues
• Preparation of reconciliations and disclosure requirements specifically required for the year-end appropriate disclosure

Maintain the highest standard of internal control environment.

Resolution of internal and external audit findings.

Requirements:

1. BCom or BTech in Accounting or Financial Accounting
2. 5 years minimum of work experience
3. At least 3 years of relevant accounting and asset management experience
4. Experience and knowledge in IFRS, PFMA, and asset management policies
5. Experience in financial accounting systems (Sage and Oracle)
