Job Summary:

To coordinate the financial and administrative functions of the hospital in line with relevant standards and within corporate governance protocols, supporting hospital operational objectives.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Diploma in Finance, Accounting, Bookkeeping, or related field
  • 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Good understanding of financial processes
  • Understanding of hospital operations and finances

Minimum Work Experience:

  • Responsible for daily banking uploads onto the system for all facilities
  • Investigate and resolve invoicing inquiries
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of supplier invoices for timely processing and payment
  • Process and capture all monthly supplier invoices for payment promptly
  • Implement and monitor processes related to assistant finance accountant duties according to quality standards and policies
  • Provide technically accurate knowledge and advice to stakeholders, keeping them informed
  • Oversee stock control of stationery and consumables for the facility
  • Ensure compliance with cost controls to meet section budgets
  • Follow policies, standards, and procedures to prevent wastage and mitigate risks
  • Monitor costs to achieve efficiencies and reduce waste
  • Coordinate with accounts payable and finance managers to resolve issues and ensure accurate payments
