Job Description

You will be embedded on a customer site and contribute to helping the customer reduce maintenance costs on site while increasing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Rockwell Automation has an excellent reputation for developing strategic maintenance approaches that can also directly improve the efficiency of maintenance departments.

As an Asset Management Professional, you will report to the RAAMP Delivery Manager and work on-site in Johannesburg.

Your Responsibilities:

1. Manage maintenance and operations (MRO) professionally on-site.
2. Work with systems to track repairable inventory and apply warranty programs.
3. Develop clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) detailing process flows and operational requirements for daily activities supporting maintenance operations.
4. Serve as a single contact for maintenance repairs and asset tracking.
5. Reduce MRO stock duplication and obsolescence.
6. Support storeroom reorganization in partnership with the customer.
7. Implement migration, rationalization, and standardization strategies to reduce MRO inventory asset value.
8. Support productivity improvements by delivering parts to maintenance teams, aiming for a lower total cost of ownership.
9. Provide monthly financial reports and coordinate new purchase consignments.
10. Collaborate with client departments including plant management, engineering, purchasing, and distributors to create maintenance efficiency plans.
11. Enhance the reliability of spare repairable assets using internal and external repair vendor capabilities.

The Essentials - You Will Have:

1. BSc or BEng Degree in Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
2. Fluent in English and Afrikaans (additional languages are a plus).

The Preferred - You Might Also Have:

1. Project management experience.
2. Customer account management experience.
