Job summary

DeARX is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Systems Analysis capabilities to join an Asset Management / Investment Management environment on an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of extension.

You will bridge business stakeholders and technology teams, translating needs into clear functional and system requirements and supporting delivery across the lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Business Analysis or Systems Analysis.
• Experience in Asset Management / Investment Management.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Knowledge of business process analysis and mapping.
• Experience with stakeholder engagement and cross-functional teams.
• Experience across the technology/software delivery lifecycle.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management.
• Analytical and problem-solving ability.

Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to understand needs, challenges and objectives.
• Facilitate requirements-gathering sessions and workshops.
• Analyse and document current and future-state processes.
• Translate requirements into detailed functional and system specs.
• Analyse existing systems, apps, workflows and processes.
• Identify gaps and recommend solutions.
• Document rules, workflows, use cases, user stories and acceptance criteria.
• Collaborate with developers, testers and architects through delivery.
• Support solution design and assess impact of changes.
• Perform gap, impact and root-cause analysis.
• Assist with data analysis and investigation.
• Support SIT and UAT, validate functionality against requirements.
• Maintain traceability of requirements.
• Ensure shared understanding between business and tech stakeholders.
