Are you a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a passion for Asset Liability Management (ALM) within the financial services sector? We are actively seeking an experienced ALM specialist to be a key player in our client’s team, contributing to the development of cutting-edge programs and models that shape the organization’s asset/liability strategy.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Developing and enhancing ALM hedging strategies.
• Sourcing appropriate financial instruments to optimize our portfolio.
• Collaborating closely with top management to provide crucial input on hedging and capital modeling.
• Driving the development of actuarial models, systems, and processes.
• Assisting in the automation of processes, as well as testing and implementing changes to the ALM/Valuations system.
• Working to refine and improve all business processes supporting Actuarial systems.

What You’ll Bring to the Team:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or a related field.
• Strong technical prowess in modeling, coding, and computer programming.
• Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Previous experience in the financial services sector is a must, and familiarity with the life insurance/long-term benefits sector, or investments space is a strong advantage.
• Experience in ALM or Actuarial Valuations, with a focus on Liabilities, Embedded Value, and Value of New Business would be a massive advantage.
• Stellar interpersonal and communication skills, with a knack for effective collaboration across diverse teams.
• Self-motivated with a robust work ethic and a commitment to continuous learning and professional development.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Actuarial Science or a related field.
• Experience in the ALM space, or Actuarial Valuations, with a focus on Liabilities, Embedded Value and Value of New Business or related is most ideal
• Strong technical skills in modelling and/or coding as well as computer programming are essential

• Financial services sector experience is necessary, and experience in a life businesses/long terms benefits / insurance sector would be a strong advantage
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
