Qualifications

Job description

Contexte et environnement

Internal Contact

Operations, finance, Paris group consolidation department and internal audit.

  1. Cross functionality required through interaction with other divisions
  2. Ensure that financial information is valid, useful, accurate, and timely.
  3. Recommendations to management about internal control and operational issues. Problem solving.
  4. Evaluation of information from other departments.
  5. Very low level of automation in SAP Harmonie and IFRS compliance during month-end procedures.
External Contact

Activités

HSSE

To effectively manage and minimize HSE risk within the area of responsibility by ensuring:

  1. Compliance with all HSE Policies, rules, guidelines, and legal requirements.
  2. Promotion of a safe working environment and positively contributing to the company HSE KPIs and risk reduction strategies.
  3. That HSE competency requirements are identified & enforced within the area of responsibility.
Accounting and Reporting

  1. To process asset transactions i.e. additions, transfers, disposals on Docuware and Kofax.
  2. To compile, analyze and capture journal entries on a monthly basis.
  3. To prepare balance sheet reconciliations on a monthly basis.
  4. To review reconciliations prepared by SSC and investigate any unreconciled items.
  5. To assist with ad-hoc requests from management.
  6. To monitor, analyze and manage the AUC account.
  7. Prepare and circulate the monthly AUC business reports.
  8. Follow up with business for the project status updates.
  9. Follow up with business on the asset disposals and ensure that it is processed accurately on SAP.
  10. To ensure all assets are identifiable and the recorded location is correct.
  11. To ensure the correct asset allocations, classification, creation, and disposals.
  12. To ensure the integrity between the Assets sub-ledger and the general ledger is maintained.
  13. To suggest improvements and optimization of financial controls related to Fixed Assets.
  14. Lease contracts loading and monitoring on the CLM system.
  15. Reconciliation of CLM and SAP postings.
  16. Assist with the preparation of quarterly assets roll-forward for CAP purposes.
Business Development

  1. To help optimize the use of available technology to improve the flow of available information to internal and external stakeholders.
  2. To help identify non-value adding processes and drive the implementation of improved accounting processes.
Profil du candidat

Accounting qualification with 1-3 years of similar experience.

Technical Knowledge or Skills Required:
