Job description
Overview

A vacancy for an Assembly Process Engineer has arisen in the Process Engineering Department reporting to the Senior Process Engineer.

Purpose

To plan, implement and improve manufacturing processes in order to support meeting the company’s manufacturing objectives and business objectives according to ISO / TS 16949 and ISO 14001.

Key Performance Areas
  • Provide management with the information with which they can effectively manage the company’s resources.
  • Improve productivity and scrap rates within the areas of delegated responsibility.
  • Manage the continued planning and implementation of process optimization.
  • Ensure continued compliance to the company’s business requirements, customer specific requirements such as quality, health and safety, environmental and prevailing legislative requirements.
  • Control plans and provide necessary technical input and problem-solving using 8D process for potential and actual process failures.
  • Manage process engineering projects and resolve engineering problems with internal departments and OEMs.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Electrical / Mechatronic / Technical Diploma / Degree with 3+ years’ experience
  • Electrical / Mechatronic Trade Tested with 5+ years’ experience
  • Computer Literacy MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, and Excel)
  • High speed assembly process and equipment knowledge and experience
  • PLC and Yaskawa Robot programming experience
  • Ultrasonic, Hotplate and Vibration Welding experience
  • Working knowledge of electro pneumatics equipment design
  • FMEA and Control Plan knowledge and experience
