• Assist with the preparation and cooking of menu items according to established recipes and brand standards.
• Support chefs across different kitchen sections during preparation and service.
• Prepare ingredients, mise en place and basic food items to ensure every service is set up for success.
• Learn and apply professional cooking techniques, preparation methods and presentation standards.
• Assist with quality checks to ensure consistency in flavour, presentation and portion sizes.
• Support daily production schedules and kitchen preparation plans.
• Ensure ingredients are fresh, properly stored and used within their shelf life.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures in line with operational standards.
• Maintain clean, organised and efficient workstations throughout service.
• Support stock rotation, storage and inventory management practices.
