Role: Artisan Millwright

The Artisan Millwright will be responsible for maintaining the overall effectiveness of equipment and plants on site, including electrical and mechanical support.

Main Objectives

1. Safety Management: Adhere to all site PPE requirements, safe operating procedures, and work instructions. Participate in safety training, meetings, inductions, medical examinations, and safety talks. Follow lockout and permit procedures.
2. Maintenance Support: Perform planned maintenance on all Premier Mills equipment. Complete all preventative maintenance work orders. Be prepared to assist with projects and provide mentorship and training for apprentices.
3. Maintenance Management: Ensure the availability of wheat and maize milling machines and plants. Execute tasks according to standards, minimizing rework. Control job times and provide mentorship for apprentices and site artisans.
4. Administration and Housekeeping: Record feedback and time on all completed work orders and inspections. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of work areas. Keep machines and tools in clean, operational condition. Adhere to strict timekeeping.
