Job Title: Artisan Gr 2 Electrician

Purpose of Job

To operate and maintain basic electrical equipment and machines, carrying out routine tasks following detailed instructions to meet performance targets.

Key Accountabilities

1. Participate in shift handover meetings.
2. Provide feedback to supervisor on work progress.
3. Participate in root cause analyses and provide feedback to RCA teams.
4. Participate in risk assessments to improve safety, in accordance with legislation and company requirements.
5. Maintain good housekeeping and adhere to waste disposal procedures.
6. Work independently.
7. Understand the business, drives, and KPIs.
8. Apply and maintain safety in the working environment.
9. Contribute to the development of training modules.
10. Identify personal training needs and incorporate them into PDP with group leader’s approval.
11. Lead by example.
12. Conduct on-the-job coaching of learners.
13. Present on specific plant equipment as SME.
14. Conduct IMS inspections to maintain and improve plant sustainability.
15. Work effectively in a team.
16. Participate in PDAs and RCAs to improve plant safety and stability.
17. Play a key role during emergency situations to restore plant operations.
18. Provide and receive feedback with other disciplines.
19. Manage stakeholder relationships.
20. Contribute to toolbox talks to improve plant safety.
21. Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in own work area.
22. Improve practices and equipment.

Formal Education
