Job summary

Qualifications

• Fitter and Turner Trade Test Certificate is required.
• EB driver’s license (unexpired) is required.
• Willingness to perform standby duties, production work, and overtime.
• Experience with bulk water storage, conveyance, and pressure systems is advantageous.
• Ability to read/manufacture drawings and interpret drawings.
• Knowledge of OHS Act compliance in workshop and site environments.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair, install, and maintain water control equipment and related infrastructure (dams, water networks).
• Conduct routine inspections, plan repairs and report defects.
• Coordinate maintenance/repairs through existing contracts.
• Manufacture items based on planning and drawings.
• Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.
• Record daily trips, fuel usage, and logbooks; maintain clean work areas.
• Assist other maintenance teams and be prepared to travel to remote areas and work standby/overtime.
