Job description

Responsibilities:

1. Implement the unit operations plan by understanding the plan and activities, including all projects and key performance measures, communicating with relevant stakeholders, and monitoring implementation daily.
2. Report on performance by tracking unit performance against targets, identifying progress and areas of concern, drafting reports, and submitting quarterly and as required.
3. Manage unit performance by tracking against targets, identifying anomalies, and implementing corrective actions monthly and as required.
4. Maintain and service diesel machinery, vehicles, and equipment by diagnosing faults, maintaining, servicing, implementing solutions, testing, and completing job administration within deadlines.
5. Provide breakdown maintenance and service support by receiving call-outs, diagnosing faults, implementing solutions, testing, and completing job administration within deadlines.
6. Coordinate spare parts inventory by checking stock levels, requesting additional stock, and completing stock administration as required.
7. Assist with technical investigations by evaluating equipment, diagnosing faults, identifying defects, recommending solutions, and completing administration within deadlines.
8. Implement expenditure within budget by understanding budget components and approving expenditure in line with budget and policies monthly.
9. Monitor expenditure against budget by reviewing financial reports, addressing anomalies, and implementing corrective actions monthly.
10. Implement SHE practices by understanding required actions, implementing, and reviewing within deadlines or as per process.
11. Comply with SHE standards, processes, and practices by maintaining knowledge and always adhering to requirements.
12. Maintain stakeholder relationships by liaising with internal and external stakeholders, providing feedback, and collaborating as required.
13. Maintain relationships with service providers by monitoring service levels, identifying issues, and implementing corrective actions monthly and as required.
14. Contribute to the team by participating in events, supporting team needs, engaging actively, and being a team member daily.
