Job summary

Trending Talent Solutions in KwaZulu-Natal seeks a technically minded individual to join the maintenance team. You will assist artisans with mechanical maintenance, support engineers on projects, and perform routine tasks under supervision, ensuring cleanliness and safety adherence.

Candidates should have basic mechanical/electrical aptitude, be punctual, fluent in English, willing to learn, and prepared for shifts and overtime where required.

Qualifications

• Preferably studying towards or holding a tertiary qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Fitting trade test or Fitting & Turning Trade Test (advantageous).
• Minimum of months relevant experience in a technical or engineering environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist artisans with mechanical maintenance and repair tasks.
• Support engineering teams in completing projects.
• Complete daily tasks at a reasonable pace and quality.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks under supervision of Artisan.
• Good housekeeping and familiar with health & safety and hygiene.
• Administration of OHS Act requirements.
• Ensure adherence to all ISO 9001 and 22000 standards and procedures.
• Participate actively in a high-performance team.
• Clean and maintain machinery and equipment.
