Ad Talent in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Art Director to lead campaigns from concept to execution across film, print, digital, OOH, experiential and social. The role is office-based in Bedfordview, requiring strong creative direction and brand stewardship.

You will manage client communications, drive timelines, and collaborate with photographers and videographers to produce high-impact visuals that resonate with target audiences.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Art, or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in Art Direction within an advertising agency.
• Experience across film, print, digital, out-of-home, experiential, and social.
• Strong client communication and project management skills.
• Experience in photography and video production.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and empathy for the audience being targeted by the campaigns.
• A driver’s license and own transport is beneficial.

2. Stay informed of trends and competitor brands, ensuring creative campaigns stay on the front line of exceptional campaign.
3. Lead the creative direction and branding for advertising campaigns.
4. Oversee art direction and graphics, ensuring high-quality graphic design results.
5. Maintain creative brand guidelines.

Desired Experience & Qualification

What you must have:

1. A relevant qualification in Graphic Design, Art, or equivalent.

8. Experience with project management tools such as Trello, Clockify, and Tango is beneficial.
9. This role is fully office-based in Bedfordview, Johannesburg.
