Job summary

Combined Private Investigations is seeking a vigilant Armed Response Officer to patrol client sites, respond immediately to alarms, and manage incidents across critical services.

You will liaise with the SAPS and management, conduct thorough site checks, capture evidence, and ensure the safety of staff and the public.

The role requires Matric, PSIRA Grade A registration, firearm competency, and 1–3 years armed response experience.

Qualifications

• Matric/Grade 12 or equivalent (NQF level 4).
• PSIRA Registered Grade A.
• Firearm competency.
• Exceptional telephone etiquette and communication skills.
• One (1) to three (3) years Armed Response experience.

Responsibilities

• React immediately to alarms and assess the situation.
• Make arrests and hand over suspects to SAPS in a lawful manner.
• Liaise with SAPS and management to coordinate response actions.
• Take detailed notes and photos at the scene for the investigation.
• Record incidents in the OB and complete shift end handovers.
• Conduct regular site checks to ensure security and safety.
• Build relationships with internal/external crime partners and law enforcement.
