Our client is looking to employ an Area Manager to take responsibility for the planning and management of all retail employees. Manage end to end relationships and strategically and operationally partnering with retailers. Know how to unlock and grow market share to deliver a competitive advantage that enables our brands to win in store.
Responsibilities:
Conduct trade visits and make recommendations on staff, stock, space, etc.
Analyse regional market trends and patterns and discover new opportunities for growth
Manage the execution of sales plans by brand for the region to include sales, market share, and demonstration objectives
Drive retail sales at the store level
Build in-store relationships with all levels of management and selling teams including Ops team
Address potential problems and suggest prompt solutions
Provide guidance to Regional Manager for expansion or acquisition
Suggest new services/products and innovative sales techniques to increase customer satisfaction
Sell company programs to store management and receive support for execution of our company Sales and Marketing and Events calendars.
Geographical call cycles (set up and review bi-annually)
Mall activations
Monitor and track tester ratios in line with company strategy
Strategically use GWPs to increase turnover
Provide direction to direct reports regarding company goals and objectives
Ensure staff are in the correct doors (operationally)
Monitor sales
Monitor self-learning
Ensure that all staff participate equally in product activations
Ensure staff are completing the Admin File
Identify HIPO (high performing employees) and discuss with RM and HR
