Job summary

A leading cleaning services provider is seeking an Area Supervisor in KwaZulu-Natal. The role involves ensuring service standards, maintaining client relations, and administrative functions. Candidates must have 5 years' experience in the cleaning industry and strong interpersonal skills alongside a valid driver’s license. Fluency in Afrikaans and English is essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the cleaning industry or 2-3 years as an Area Supervisor.
  • Strong client liaison skills.
  • Valid driver’s license Code 8 is required.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure contractual requirements are met.
  • Maintain good relations with the client regarding cleaning services.
  • Evaluate service levels and make improvement recommendations.
  • Handle administrative matters.
  • Liaise with site management on operational issues.

Job description

The main purpose of the position is to ensure the posting of Cleaning services , that all site-specific cleaning requirements are adhered to and that the client’s needs are always efficiently and professionally met.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Matric certificate.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in the Cleaning industry/ 2-3 years’ experience as a Area Supervisor.
  • People management experience.
  • Administration, interpersonal communication and client liaison skills are required.
  • Strong planning, leadership, organisational skills as well as good interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Valid driver’s license Code 8.
  • Fluent in Afrikaans and English.
  • Must reside in Bloemfontein surrounding area.

Key Performance Areas: (not totally inclusive):

  • Ensuring that contractual requirements are met as stipulated by the Client.
  • Maintaining good relations between Fidelity Cleaning Services Group and the Client regarding cleaning services rendered.
  • Constantly evaluating the service levels provided and making recommendations to the Client regarding the improvement of services.
  • Dealing with all required administration matters.
  • Liaising daily with Site management on various operational issues.
