REQUIREMENTS :
- 3+ years of experience in a sales role
- Experience in the hardware sector and / or financial services (loans) is advantageous
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Tertiary qualification in Sales or relevant sales and relationship management experience
- Strong skills in sales, including prospecting, negotiation, and closing
- Excellent rapport-building abilities
- Valid driver's license required
DUTIES : Planning :
- Execute the annual sales strategy and plan for the allocated area / region.
- Design and implement tactical and operational plans to meet strategic objectives within the allocated area / region.
Sales - New Hardware Merchants :
- Identify opportunities to source new independent and franchise hardware merchants and convert them to the company credit partners.
- Assist new hardware merchants with the company onboarding process.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the industry and how credit solutions can benefit hardware merchants.
- Be a brand ambassador and reflect company values at all times.
Marketing :
- Execute marketing initiatives within the merchant sales channels to support meeting sales targets.
- Execute promotional, brand, and incentive campaigns as outlined in the annual sales plan.
People Management :
- Lead and manage the external sales function (Internal and External Credit Champions) within the allocated area / region of responsibility by :
- Providing visible and clear leadership, promoting a culture of high-performance standards and customer centricity.
- Ensuring Credit Champions have clear and realistic targets / goals.
- Monitoring and reporting on sales performance.
Stakeholder Management and Communication :
- Share merchant and credit champion monthly performance reports.
- Provide regular progress feedback to line management regarding projects and targets.
- Share knowledge with team members and internal stakeholders.
