Main Purpose : ITG is recruiting an ambitious and dynamic Regional Tax Manager to deliver high-quality tax support to all parts of Impala in the EMEA Region.
This is a greenfield role which supports the Impala - Head of Tax in Geneva to build a lean and efficient tax function for the group.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities, Key Responsibilities:
Management and monitoring of the regional tax (direct and indirect) positions including tax accounting, compliance, year-end audit supported by ITG Shared Services in Montevideo and Johannesburg;
Ensure tax accrual process for the region both for corporate and transactional tax is maintained accurately by ITG Shared Services in Montevideo and Johannesburg;
Risk assessment and control of all applicable taxes including tax provisioning;
Develop, implement and maintain TP documentation & compliance for the Group (including global management fee model);
Develop, implement and maintain tax reporting tools (e.g. BEPS Pillar 2 and CBCR Reporting);
Manage tax audits and tax litigation, including negotiations with local tax authorities;
Ensure effective use of external advisers - in terms of quality and cost;
Advise management and local controllers & commercial team on tax structuring issues;
Advise management, controllers and treasury team on tax implication of inter-group funding models.
General Education and Experience:
6-8 years of work experience in tax (Top Accounting or Law Firm); in-house experience in tax function is considered an advantage;
Training and/or experience in taxes in multiple jurisdictions (highly preferable);
Training and/or experience in Transfer Pricing (preferable);
In-depth knowledge and experience in domestic and international corporate tax rules and practical applications;
Hands-on personality with energy, drive, and entrepreneurial spirit;
