Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Area Manager to join a well-established branch in Midrand, Gauteng. This is a key leadership role responsible for driving business growth, providing technical oversight, and ensuring outstanding customer service across the region.

Responsibilities
  • New Business Development
    • Identify and pursue opportunities to expand market share.
    • Conduct sales presentations and pitches to prospective clients.
    • Provide accurate and competitive pricing.
    • Successfully close sales and achieve set targets.
    • Ensure completion of Credit Applications / Customer Detail Forms.
    • Prepare presentations as required.
  • Sales & Customer Liaison
    • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients through regular visits.
    • Assess customer needs, recommend solutions, and secure orders.
    • Collaborate with Telesales for order processing.
    • Conduct product demonstrations when required.
    • Communicate new products, promotions, and pricing to clients.
    • Ensure service reports are completed and signed by customers.
  • Services & Technical Oversight
    • Conduct routine service calls and attend to customer callouts.
    • Service and maintain equipment, arranging repairs as necessary.
  • Installations
    • Manage customer installation requests.
    • Coordinate equipment requisition and collection.
    • Oversee installations at client sites.
    • Ensure Proof of Delivery and Equipment Loan Agreements are completed.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all products.
    • Ensure team members are fully trained and competent.
  • Planning, Administration & Reporting
    • Lead strategic planning initiatives.
    • Manage administrative responsibilities.
    • Compile and submit accurate reports to management.
  • Ad Hoc Duties
    • Perform additional tasks as required to support branch operations.
Minimum Requirements
  • Reliable vehicle with valid insurance.
