Area Manager

SALARY: Market Related

The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing sales and a group of stores within Gauteng, Free State, and KZN. The role ensures that the stores operate efficiently, meet business objectives, and provide exceptional customer experiences in the home decor sector, focusing on high-quality fabrics, furnishings, architectural textiles, and luxury homeware. The candidate should have experience with exclusive products.

Responsibilities :

  • Achieve and exceed sales targets, analyze data, and implement growth strategies.
  • Oversee store operations, optimize inventory, and improve efficiency.
  • Train and develop staff, ensuring high performance and retention.
  • Maintain excellent customer service, resolve escalations, and enhance satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, safety regulations, and brand standards.
  • Manage budgets, control costs, and provide performance reports for decision-making.

Requirements :

  • 5+ years of retail management experience, with at least 2+ years in multi-unit leadership.
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in retail software and Excel.
  • Own car and valid driver’s license.
