Placements24 is seeking an Area Delivery Specialist to manage deliveries in the Klerksdorp region. You will plan routes, load and unload goods, and ensure timely, secure deliveries to our customers.

This role requires a valid South African driver''s license, good navigation skills, and a reliable work ethic. You will work independently with a focus on safety, customer service, and meeting delivery targets while upholding our service standards in the North West province.

Qualifications

• Valid South African driver''s license (Code 10 preferred).
• Experience in delivery driving or a role requiring route management.
• Good geographical knowledge of Klerksdorp and surrounding areas.
• Ability to handle physically demanding loading/unloading tasks.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute efficient delivery routes throughout the Klerksdorp area, ensuring all customer deliveries are completed within designated timeframes.
• Safely load, transport, and unload a variety of goods, ensuring their condition remains intact throughout the journey.
• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, maintaining a high standard of vehicle cleanliness and reporting any necessary maintenance.
• Obtain proof of delivery and ensure accurate documentation for all completed transactions.
• Communicate professionally with customers to confirm delivery details and address any immediate concerns.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
