Job Title : Projects Administrator / Documents Controller
Location : Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal (Preferably local candidates or surrounding areas)
Duration : 12-month project

Job Overview : We are seeking an experienced Projects Administrator / Documents Controller to join our team for a key project based in Richards Bay. This is a critical role to ensure effective management of project documentation, smooth project administration, and coordination across various teams.

The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience in handling documents related to large-scale projects.

Key Responsibilities :
  • Manage, organize, and maintain all project-related documentation, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinate document control procedures, ensuring compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Create and maintain a filing system (both electronic and physical) for project documentation.
  • Review, track, and update project-related documentation, including contracts, specifications, and progress reports.
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely submission of documents.
  • Assist in project reporting and maintaining schedules.
  • Facilitate the collection, processing, and distribution of documents and communications across project teams.
  • Ensure all documents are compliant with the project's specifications and standards.
  • Provide administrative support to project teams, including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and handling correspondence.
Key Requirements :
  • Proven experience as a Projects Administrator, Document Controller, or similar role within the project management field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Familiarity with document management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Previous experience working on large-scale construction or industrial projects is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and document control standards is preferred.
  • Local candidates from Richards Bay or surrounding areas are highly preferred.
Education & Experience :
  • Matric / Grade 12 is essential; additional qualifications in Administration, Project Management, or related fields are an advantage.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in an administrative or document control role, ideally within a project setting.
Additional Information :
  • The role will be on-site at Richards Bay for the duration of the project.
  • Immediate start preferred.
