The successful candidate will influence the specific market by defining the market upfront and then by focus, clear values and effort, carry out intentions to be successful and to form sustainable relationships with the key role players.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Know the market
    • Understand the relevance picture, the sales strategy, the market structure and how it is linked, how to dominate key minds, technical specifications, unique selling proposition, ensuring that the solutions offered are correct, database and how to build trust within the client base.
  2. Know the products
    • Understand the full product range
    • What relevant marketing material exists
    • How to structure a Specification pack for professionals
    • How to introduce new products and or solutions to the market
    • Connect to the market
  3. Organise the professional database in categories
  4. Ensure effective Time and Territory Management
  5. Provide the target market with information
  6. Understand the market timing
  7. Be aware of the right route to market
  8. Build sustainable relationships and trust
  9. Introduce new products
  10. Use CRM to identify projects and follow ups
  11. Arrange CPD talks
  12. Connect the professionals with relevant research data
  13. Link the market to the internal structures of the group
  14. Effective use of CRM
    • Stay connected with professionals after the start of a project
    • Measure and report
  15. Utilising calendar
    • Call reports
    • Forecasts
    • CRM

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  1. Matric certificate
  2. Sales background experience
  3. Knowledge and sales experience in the construction / engineering sectors will be advantageous
  4. Experience in successfully liaising with professionals in a sector
  5. Experience in detailed reporting and CRM system
  6. Own vehicle with drivers’ license
