Placements24 is assisting a Kimberley-based architectural firm in identifying a meticulous Architectural Drafter. You will translate design concepts into buildable plans, producing accurate drawings and documentation under architects’ guidance.

This role emphasizes precision, collaboration, and the ability to support project delivery across diverse schemes. You will work with AutoCAD and Revit to create detailed outputs, update models, and ensure documentation meets project standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or diploma-level training in architectural drafting or related field is required.
• Must have proven experience as an architectural drafter or similar role.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit is essential.

You will be responsible for producing accurate and high-quality technical drawings and documentation under the guidance of architects and technologists. This role is crucial for translating design concepts into buildable plans and requires a strong technical aptitude and proficiency in drafting software. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed architectural drawings, including floor plans, elevations, sections, and details using CAD software.
• Develop and update 3D models based on architectural designs.
• Assist in the preparation of construction documents, specifications, and other technical documentation.
• Ensure drawings are accurate, consistent, and compliant with project requirements and standards.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to incorporate design changes and revisions.
• Maintain organized digital and physical drawing files.

Requirements

• National Diploma or relevant certification in Architectural Drafting or Technology.
• Proven experience as an Architectural Drafter or similar role.
