Job Description
To define and develop complex architecture roadmaps, practices, and processes that embed strategic applications across an entire Business Unit / Group scope. To link the business mission, vision, strategy, and processes for a dedicated Business Unit to its IT strategy, documenting this using multiple architectural models or views that demonstrate how the current and future needs of the Business Unit will be met in an integrated, efficient, sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner.

More than 10 years
Significant experience as an Architect ideally with time in an Enterprise capacity. Track record in IT disciplines including data management, integration and large scale solution architectures. Experience with the complete information system life cycle. Architecture/Solution design delivery in large domestic or global institutions. Ability to deal with all levels of the business and technology stakeholders across large organisations.
Knowledge
- Robust knowledge of Solution Design & Architecture.
- Ability to advise on, plan and manage end to end architecture and design.
- Proven ability to lead, manage and drive high performance across technical and project teams.
- Knowledge/experience of architecture/design frameworks.
- Demonstrable relevant experience in writing technical documents.
- Ability to present to all levels from C-level to technical staff.
- Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit and trade-off analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
- Knowledge of business ecosystems, software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as aservice (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT and predictive analytics.
- Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services
- management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
