Job summary

Hyundai Bloemfontein is seeking a motivated Apprentice - Level Year 1 to join our workshop in Bloemfontein. You will learn hands-on automotive repair skills under the supervision of a qualified Technician, while completing MerSETA requirements for the trade and passing level tests.

Responsibilities include assisting senior technicians, using diagnostic equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining a clean work area.

Qualifications

• Matric with Mathematics and Physical Science
• N3 certificate from accredited college
• Valid, unendorsed driver’s license
• Clear criminal record
• Interest in automotive industry
• Basic knowledge of mechanical systems
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Good communication skills
• Physically fit for heavy work; able to perform duties
• Enjoy working with hands
• Able to work in noisy environments
• Good eyesight and hand-eye coordination
• Strong problem solving/trouble shooting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians with diagnosing and repairing vehicles
• Learn to use diagnostic equipment and tools

• Assist with vehicle repair to gain practical experience under supervision
