Job description

Our client is currently seeking a young, energetic, and physically fit candidate to join their team.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Assist in the maintenance, repair, and installation of machinery and equipment in the steel plant.
  2. Learn to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues with guidance from experienced millwrights.
  3. Participate in routine inspection of machines to ensure optimal functioning.
  4. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
  5. Support the Factory Manager in executing various tasks and projects.
  6. Keep accurate records of maintenance activities.
  7. Attend and actively participate in training sessions and workshops.
Requirements:
  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Technical certifications or coursework in mechanical/electrical fields is an advantage (Red Seal).
  3. Physically fit and able to perform manual labor.
  4. Basic knowledge of tools and machinery.
  5. Commitment to a career in the millwright trade.
Additional Skills:
  1. Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems.
