Job summary

Power Group in Gauteng seeks motivated individuals to start an Apprentice Fitter and Turner program in Tembisa. You will gain hands-on experience with conventional and CNC tools, fitting and assembling mechanical components, and interpreting technical drawings within a dynamic industrial setting.

The role offers structured training leading to a recognized trade qualification, with exposure to diverse manufacturing processes and opportunities for career development in the Gauteng region.

Qualifications

Grade 12 or N2 with technical subjects.
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving.
Ability to work meticulously with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

Learn to operate conventional and CNC machine tools such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders.
Assist in the assembly, fitting, and installation of mechanical components and machinery.
Develop proficiency in measuring, marking out, cutting, shaping, and finishing metal parts to precise specifications.
Understand and apply technical drawings and specifications in daily tasks.
Participate actively in safety training and maintain a safe workshop environment in Tembisa.
