Qualifications

• Completed Grade 12 (Matric) with passes in Mathematics and Physical Science.
• Strong interest in electrical work and willingness to learn the trade.
• Physically fit and able to work at heights and in confined spaces.
• Valid driver's license is advantageous.
• Legally eligible to work in South Africa and willing to relocate to Tembisa, Gauteng.
• Commitment to completing the full apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified electricians in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Learn to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams.
• Perform basic electrical tasks under supervision, such as wiring, connecting components, and testing circuits.
• Identify and troubleshoot electrical faults and malfunctions.
• Ensure all work complies with safety regulations and building codes.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
• Assist with material handling and site preparation.
• Participate actively in on-the-job training and formal trade school sessions.
• Document work performed and report progress to supervisors.
