Placements24 is seeking an Apprentice Bricklayer in East London, Eastern Cape. This hands-on apprenticeship trains you to lay bricks, blocks, and other materials, under the supervision of skilled tradespeople.

You will gain practical experience on active construction sites across the Eastern Cape while earning an apprentice wage. The program combines on-the-job learning with formal instruction, emphasizes safety, teamwork, and quality workmanship, and offers a clear pathway to full qualification

Qualifications

• Completed Grade 12 or equivalent.
• 2) Physical strength and stamina for manual labor.
• 3) Ability to work well in a team and follow instructions.
• 4) Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather.
• 5) Commitment to completing the full apprenticeship program.

Responsibilities

• Assist experienced bricklayers with site tasks.
• Learn to prepare mortar and mix concrete.

• Learn to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area on site.
