Senior Logistics Analyst - 1st Shift - Lithia Springs, GA

What you'll do on a typical day:

  1. Prepare operational analyses of services, projects, or general business actions.
  2. Maintain databases, extract information, and develop metrics and scorecards to measure and improve overall performance.
  3. Analyze operations, including performance and productivity data, error rates, and root causes.
  4. Monitor and analyze reports to identify operational issues throughout departments.
  5. Utilize systems and software to develop and maintain reporting tools to support business decisions.
  6. Create related reports, graphs, charts, presentations, and other documents to support analysis.
  7. Collect and analyze data for modeling, network optimization, and/or supply chain redesign purposes.
  8. Develop and deliver productivity savings and engineered solutions analytics for the account.

What you need to succeed at GXO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent related work or military experience.
  2. 2 years of experience in comprehensive supply chain or logistics.
  3. Expertise in preparing, importing, and manipulating information in spreadsheets, databases, and presentations.
  4. Experience with Microsoft Office; ability to extract system data from SAP and utilize Excel/Access to develop reports.
  5. Advanced Excel skills, including macros.
  6. Experience with converting raw data into usable formats.
  7. Support experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), order management applications, and database systems.

It'd be great if you also have:

  1. Strong problem-solving techniques, statistical analysis skills, and the ability to create queries, solid data mining, and development skills.
  2. Ability to create solutions-based reports to improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction.
  3. Fundamental comprehension of warehouse operations and supply chain structure.
  4. Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills.
