Job description

A vacancy exists for an Application Support Specialist , based at Life Healthcare Head Office in Dunkeld, reporting to Business Support Manager .

The successful candidate will provide essential support for hospital information systems and ensure they operate optimally for all key stakeholders.

Critical Outputs The Support Specialist will support all relevant HIS (Hospital Information Systems) : SAP MM, Impilo, Imeds, P&F, Synchramed, CKS, Digilife, TASS, CMM, Surgicom Responsibilities include : Ensuring the effective operation of all hospital information systems, including availability and acceptable performance Managing access in accordance with governance policies and protocols Utilising incident management systems and adhering to service level agreements Investigating and resolving issues before involving developers / vendors Assisting users with knowledge and skills gaps Providing after-hours support / standby Maintaining high customer satisfaction levels at Head Office and hospital levels Staying competent with new programmes and initiatives Complying with Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment protocols Participating in Change Control meetings Logging defects in DevOps and collaborating with developers until resolution Participating in application deployments Identifying system shortcomings and recommending improvements Following change governance processes for IT modifications Providing post-implementation user support Requirements Grade 12 3-5 years hospital experience Experience with Life Healthcare systems advantageous Proven proficiency in Microsoft Office Competencies Planning and organizing Deadline-driven Ability to handle pressure Relationship building Attention to detail Resilience Effective communication skills Team orientation Application email : Closing date : Friday, June 20, Internal applicants are advised to discuss their application with their line manager.
