Purpose of the Position

The purpose of the Application Specialist is to focus on long-term relationships with end-users in the Public sector and to provide clinical and product training relating to Pressure Injury Prevention and Therapeutic Mattress product training.

Core Responsibilities

  • Daily ward rounds in Public Facilities to identify areas where training is required
  • Coordinating and providing product training to all end-users and covering all shifts – formal and on-the-spot
  • Acknowledging and resolving customer complaints timeously
  • Liaising with Hospital Clinical Engineering and maintenance team to resolve repair challenges
  • Effective territory coverage
  • Compiling an install base of all therapeutic mattresses
  • Collaborating with Arjo Service team on handling repairs
  • Conducting Pressure Injury Assessments in hospitals
  • The candidate must be able to work outside office hours, when required
  • Documenting of hospital database and install base of therapeutic mattresses

Qualification, Knowledge, Skills And Abilities

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in clinical healthcare environment
  • Clinical Practitioner in the field of nursing or similar
  • Prior training experience a plus
  • Strong Clinical knowledge
  • Basic computer literacy skills in MS Excel and Outlook
  • Valid driver’s license (Code 08/EB)
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Customer Service Orientated
  • Fluent in African language will be an advantage
