Job Description
- Proactively seek out new sales opportunities and convert them into sales.
- Support and maintain the company’s product portfolio installed base.
- Identify potential customers and present product/service offerings to meet their needs.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
- Provide excellent customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Develop a deep understanding of our products/services and effectively communicate their features, benefits, and value proposition to customers.
- Stay informed about market trends, competitor activities, and industry developments.
- Use market insights to identify opportunities for growth and stay ahead of the competition.
- Keep accurate records of sales activities, including customer interactions, sales calls, and sales pipeline status.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, customer service, and other departments to achieve company objectives and provide a seamless customer experience.
- Provide additional support for the company’s full portfolio in the region, including devices and consumables, as needed.
- Support Key Opinion Leaders in Ophthalmology.
Job Requirements
Education / Professional Certification
- Degree in scientific, engineering, technical, or product-related field, or graduation from a higher institution, or equivalent.
- Science / Optometry Degree or other relevant tertiary qualification.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, marketing, or related field.
Experience
- 3-5 years of professional experience in Medical Sales, ideally in Ophthalmology.
- Previous sales experience in B2B or B2C environments with a proven track record.
- Experience in training.
- Ability to network and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
- Knowledge and experience in the theatre environment.
- Excellent knowledge of the Ophthalmology market in the region.
