Job description

The Application Engineer will be involved in the design, development, manufacturing, and testing of electronic modules, as well as, IoT driven hardware and software solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Exploring innovative applications utilizing ASICs in new product design concepts.

Designing and developing robust PCB modules (hardware and firmware) to support new product development.

Take ownership of projects, driving them from conception to completion.

Contribute positively to team culture, fostering collaboration and innovation.

Provide support and expertise to colleagues as required.

Help exceed client expectations through exceptional project delivery and teamwork.

Product development, design, testing and production.

Managing project scope before, during and after delivery.

Support existing products and clients.

Implementing the electronic hardware design and development of modules.

Capture requirements.

Develop / Synthesize and propose solutions.

Source components and develop prototypes.

Industrialize / Commercialize designs for high volume production.

Ensure designs are qualified and validated.

Drafting test specifications.

Documenting tests results.

Ensure projects are completed and documented in accordance with D&D process (ISO9001 : 2015).

Product life cycle support.

Provide support to clients and manage the product supply chain.

Required Skills

Education Level : Master's degree (M.Eng) or Bachelor's degree (B.Eng) in Electronic Engineering.

4-8 years Experience with

Electronic design, including analog and digital circuit design

Strong background in PCB design and layout, using tools such as Altium Designer, KiCad, or OrCAD

Proficiency in embedded firmware development for microcontrollers, using C / C++

Experience with GitLab or similar version control systems

Competence in prototyping, hardware verification, testing, and debugging of electronic circuits

Skilled in using test and measurement equipment oscilloscopes and logic analysers

Ability to draft and execute test specifications and clearly document results

Exposure to IoT hardware solutions and interfacing with custom ASICs or sensors

Effective communicator with the ability to collaborate across internal teams and with external stakeholders
