We are looking for an experienced Application Developer with deep expertise in the Microsoft .NET stack to join a high-impact project for 8 months. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge custom applications using modern Microsoft technologies in a hybrid work environment based in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain custom information systems based on IT specifications.
• Translate business requirements into functional and technical designs.
• Create models, components, code, unit tests, and thorough documentation.
• Leverage C#, VB.NET, ASP.NET, MVC, Entity Framework for application development.
• Work with relational databases including SQL Server, Azure SQL, and MySQL.
• Apply best practices using the latest .NET frameworks and DevOps tools.
• Participate in Agile development teams using Microsoft DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 8–10 years of experience in application development using the Microsoft stack.
• Strong knowledge of C# and/or VB.NET, MVC, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework.
• Proven track record of end-to-end development using Microsoft technologies.
• Familiarity with SQL Server, Azure SQL, MySQL, and related data tools.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and Microsoft DevOps toolsets.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setup.
