We boast a team of highly experienced technical professionals, empowering us to deliver quick and high-quality service offerings for building and managing the backbone that propels our customers' businesses forward. We currently provide ICT solutions to over 500 retail outlets, as well as services to the Property Management, Hospitality, Logistics, and Legal sectors.

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Business Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will work across multiple departments to translate business requirements into applications, integrations, and systems landscapes. This individual must possess exceptional analytical, documentation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, ICT-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Business Requirements and Workflow Analysis
    • Collaborate with departments to understand their application, workflow, and reporting needs.
    • Translate business requirements into functional solutions, considering existing systems, integrations, and landscapes.
    • Identify and recommend improvements to business processes, ensuring alignment with best practices.
  2. Documentation and Reporting
    • Develop comprehensive documentation, including process flows, business requirements, implementation plans, and measurable outcomes.
    • Maintain accurate and updated records of all project deliverables and activities.
  3. Stakeholder Management and Communication
    • Engage with stakeholders across all levels, including C-Level executives, to extract and clarify requirements.
    • Educate and guide stakeholders on best practices and optimal solutions to achieve objectives.
    • Manage key relationships with stakeholders, addressing skill gaps where necessary.
  4. Technical Expertise and Application Knowledge
    • Apply extensive experience with various applications and systems, including ERP systems, quoting tools, ITSM tools, IT support tools, and network management tools.
    • PowerBI or BI application experience is advantageous.
    • Configure and deploy workflows to meet business and operational needs.
    • Apply simple but effective training methodologies to ensure departments are educated and empowered to use any newly implemented applications, workflows, reports, etc.
  5. Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and mentor junior staff, supporting their career development and growth.
    • Provide guidance, learning opportunities, and exposure to junior team members.
    • Fulfil managerial duties, ensuring team deliverables align with organizational goals.
  6. Project and Time Management
    • Utilize strong self-management and project management skills to prioritize and meet deadlines.
    • Balance multiple projects and workflows efficiently to deliver on time and within scope.

Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.
    • Proven experience in ICT environments is highly preferred.
    • Demonstrated expertise in business process analysis and technical solution delivery.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficient in ERP systems, ITSM tools, network management tools, and other relevant applications.
    • Familiarity with system integration and configuration.
    • PowerBI or BI application experience is advantageous.

Preferred Skills
  • Certification in Business Analysis (e.g., CBAP, CCBA) or Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2).
  • Experience in workflow configuration and deployment.
  • Knowledge of ICT systems and tools for supporting networks and IT environments.

Objective and Key Results:

The following Objectives and Key Results have been identified as specific measurables that will be used, in conjunction with relevant KPI, to determine the success in this role:


  1. Accurate and Impactful Workflow implementation and Maintenance
    Key Results: Workflows meet the desired outcomes whilst ensuring user experience is not compromised.
  2. Application Frameworks, Integrations and Flows documented
    Key Result: 100% of any integrations, workflows, reporting methodologies documented with Business requirement specifications.
  3. Training cadence and effectiveness
    Key Result: Ensure all departments have a champion that is qualified to train staff on the various landscape components relevant to their department, whilst additionally ensuring training is completed with any new rollout and that a training cadence is in place for new users from a global perspective.
  4. Impact Analysis and Monthly status reporting
    Key Result: Monthly reports generated and produced to Exco of key projects, their expected and completed measurable impacts, including all risks, concerns, and limitations.
  5. Innovation
    Key Result: Identify at least 1 organisation-wide project to deliver positive impact to the organisation with evidence of positive measurements on any of the below:
    • Reduced manual workloads/human error
    • Improved cost and revenue visibility
    • Improved customer experience statements
    • Improved Staff Satisfaction statements
