Job summary

iStore is looking for a Store Trainer to support, coach and develop our retail teams across 2–3 locations. This hands-on, floor-based role focuses on building capability, improving sales confidence, and delivering the iStore experience every day.

The Store Trainer will lead onboarding for new starters, ongoing sales coaching, product training and customer demos, with travel between stores. Passion for Apple products and customer service is essential.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12
• 2+ years in retail sales
• Experience with consumer tech or Apple products is advantageous
• Experience facilitating training, coaching sessions, group sessions or workshops
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Experience using learning platforms or LMS
• Understanding of sales methodologies, ACE or similar
• Own transport for travel between stores
• Additional experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Customer Training & Product Demos: plan and deliver engaging sessions including demos
• New Starter Onboarding: support onboarding journey and ensure readiness
• Sales Coaching & Team Development: observe interactions, coach on knowledge and selling skills
• Training Compliance & Reporting: track LMS progress and provide updates
• New Product Launch Readiness: prepare store teams and product knowledge
• Floor Support: assist on the sales floor during peak periods
