Key Responsibilities
- Create look and feel for seasonal merchandise, based on global trends and key lessons learned, including direction on silhouette, styling, fabric, print, and colour.
- Have a commercial eye and interpret international trends for the customer.
- Incorporate brand handwriting and personality into the ranges.
- Brief graphic designers and the outwork team on trend and branding direction.
- Present and develop key items for Jet retail team, considering key platform fabrics and price points.
- Monitor weekly sales and developments throughout the season to ensure relevance and alignment with consumer demand.
- Provide comprehensive and technical CAD drawings and tech packs for relevant and cost-effective products.
- Offer test options to establish new product categories and iterate on existing lines.
- Keep buying teams informed with relevant and aspirational trend information aligned with the brand.
- Ensure all garments purchased meet customer satisfaction regarding quality and costs.
Qualifications And Experience
- Graphic Design Qualification.
- 3-5 years of experience in designing graphics for apparel.
- Retail experience is highly advantageous.
Skills
- Initiative, self-motivation, and ability to meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, and Microsoft Office.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- High accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize.
