About the Role:

The Team: The Enterprise Data Organization (EDO) provides Data & Distribution services to data producers within S&P Global. Our team values innovation and collaboration, striving to optimize data operations and distribution processes to meet the evolving needs of our business partners.

Responsibilities and Impact:

  • Design and implement customized file configurations tailored to client needs.
  • Provide expert technical troubleshooting and problem-solving for API integrations.
  • Deliver technical consultancy to facilitate smooth API integration processes, and data sharing into warehouse solutions, including Snowflake, GCP BigQuery and Databricks.
  • Lead client migration projects from legacy systems to our Data Delivery platform.
  • Champion process optimization and automation to enhance efficiency.
  • Manage monthly KPI reporting, generating insights from operational metrics to drive performance improvements.
  • Identify and specify application issues, collaborating with Product & Development teams for improvements.
  • Engage proactively with senior clients and stakeholders to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
  • Facilitate the Agile process for prioritization, coordination, and planning within the team.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in API integration and programming skills in Python, Java, JSON, SQL, XML.
  • Knowledge of data warehouse solutions, including Snowflake, GCP BigQuery and Databricks.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a technical troubleshooting background.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective client and stakeholder engagement.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with operational tooling and automation techniques.
  • Proficient understanding of software systems and enterprise application development.
  • Experience in AzureDevOps, Splunk, Salesforce, MS Excel, and PowerBI.
  • Ability to generate insights from operational metrics and drive performance improvements.
