Job summary

Lyra Health in Johannesburg is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join the international data team as they modernize the data architecture from SQL Server to Snowflake, dbt and BI tools. You will build pipelines to ingest data from Salesforce and other sources and create dbt models for transformational analytics.

You will work closely with the BI team, monitor data warehouse performance, and mentor teammates while collaborating across multiple time zones to deliver scalable data solutions

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in data engineering.
• Experience building pipelines ingesting data from REST APIs and cloud storage.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing concepts and BI tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain pipelines to ingest data from Salesforce and various data sources.
• Build and maintain dbt models to transform data using Medallion architecture.
• Collaborate with BI team to meet reporting demands across time zones.
• Mentor team members as the data team expands.
