Analytics & BI Technical Lead

We are looking for an experienced Analytics & BI Technical Lead to join our Moyo team.

Primary Duties And Responsibilities

The BI Analyst is responsible for transforming data into information, insights, and business decisions. Responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle activities such as requirements analysis, database development, reporting, and monitoring performance to identify improvements.

Required Qualifications

Tertiary degree, diploma, or certificate in a related field (e.g., BSc Computer Science, B.IT, or Informatics).

Experience And Knowledge

• 7+ years of experience as a BI Reporting Analyst, Database Developer, or Software Consultant.
• Knowledge of database design and data analytics, specifically Power BI.
• At least 5+ years’ experience with technologies such as Tableau, Power BI, MS SQL, SSRS, SSIS, SSAS, Big Data tools (Hive, Pig, Flume, Sqoop, Uzi, Spark), and Predictive Analytics tools (Alteryx, Python, R).
• Experience in database warehousing, data consolidation, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities

• Data analysis, design, and reporting.
• Stay updated on emerging industry and technology trends.
• Develop communication procedures and analytical reports.
• Update database structures and information, design and develop databases, and document procedures and specifications.
• Provide technical support and conduct data mapping and transformation.
• Research available technologies and migrate client deliveries to new BI platforms.
• Build partnerships with business power users, understand business operations, and implement process improvements.
• Assist junior consultants in their learning and development.
