KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS (KPA) Financial ManagementProvide and manage a seamless customer experience across trade solutions, payments, and forex for clients.Contribute to overall budgets and business plans for Trade Solutions, Foreign exchange, and Payments.Manage and control efficiencies to prevent losses.Monitor and manage operational costs monthly.Customer CentricityProvide expert advice on trade finance applications.Improve supply chain and product functionality to enhance client experience.Manage trade pricing / concessions and address revenue leakages, aiming for increased share of wallet.Collaborate with operational teams for streamlined client onboarding based on "onboard once" principle.Ensure clients follow best practices in risk and operational procedures.Ensure client satisfaction through responsiveness and proactive service.Guide marketing to increase product awareness internally and externally.Drive process simplification.Operational ExcellenceEnsure compliance with all regulatory and internal requirements.Perform monthly reconciliations and support sales in achieving targets.Maintain relationships with other firms to support business growth.Stay updated on economic indicators and discuss impacts on clients.Evaluate clients for viability and risk, articulating these in credit applications.Ensure adherence to controls and regulatory standards.Maintain accurate reporting, including call reports, sales pipelines, and client events.Identify and address system or process weaknesses.People LeadershipSupport and train staff on product knowledge and processes.Provide regular training to build confidence and sales skills.Encourage continuous learning and career development.Support sales teams nationally as backup.Learning and GrowthFocus on personal development and exposure to growth opportunities.Provide staff training and development throughout the year.Foster an environment for applying new skills and knowledge.Encourage career advancement.This position is advertised in line with our commitment to Employment Equity.
