About the Role

The role involves testing raw materials, finished products, and stability products according to specifications. It includes peer reviewing analytical raw data to ensure testing compliance with material specifications and laboratory policies.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Test raw materials, finished products, and stability products as per documented specifications and methods.
  2. Analyze a broad range of product types: API, Excipient, Tablets, Capsules, Sachets, and Powder formulations.
  3. Perform analysis using wet chemical techniques and instrumental methods (HPLC, GC).
  4. Review results for accuracy and report anomalies or deviations to supervisors.
  5. Test compliance samples of site systems (water, gases, steam, etc.) as per procedures.
  6. Ensure achievement of site objectives related to risk management and QMS.
  7. Peer review analytical raw data generated by other analysts on a rotational basis or as required.
  8. Be flexible for temporary secondments within other laboratory processes after training.
Qualifications and Skills
  • BSc in Chemistry or National Diploma in Analytical Chemistry.
  • At least 2 years' laboratory experience.
  • Experience analyzing various product types.
  • Proficiency in wet chemical and instrumental analysis techniques.
  • Preferred: experience in pharmaceutical laboratories.
  • Knowledge of GMP, QMS, SOPs, and regulatory requirements.
  • Independent thinking and organizational skills.
