Job Description

Command Centre Operations

• Understand an aggregated view of all IT assets, including technology stacks.
• Execute and orchestrate operational processing, batch processing, scheduling, and monitoring, ensuring alignment with customer expectations and consistency.
• Take responsibility for operational processing and monitoring quality by meeting or exceeding all SLAs and targets related to time, quality, and cost.
• Continuously enhance personal knowledge and skills to manage new and refined monitoring and processing services, aiming for efficiency and effectiveness (e.g., centralised command centre).
• Review and analyze operational performance data to proactively predict events and incidents before they occur.
• Provide support and information to business units, problem management, disaster recovery, resilience, and technology teams to prevent incidents, outages, and disruptions of critical services.
• Review operational data and recommend continuous improvements.
• Participate in testing new or optimised command centre operations.
• Support ongoing optimisation, maintenance, and technological upgrades of command centre tools and systems.
• Engage in incident and problem management, providing data-driven insights and remedial suggestions.
• Stay informed about emerging technologies and practices to enhance automation, digitisation, and predictive capabilities.

Accountability: Finance, Risk, Governance & Compliance

• Participate in risk, governance, and compliance reviews; maintain accurate command centre records.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with risk management, governance, and regulatory standards.

Accountability: People

• Support change management initiatives, especially in designing adoption processes for customers, employees, and third parties.

Required Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in IT or Engineering (advantageous).
• Minimum 2 years of experience in IT.
• At least 1 year of experience in Mainframe Operations.
• Knowledge of ITIL and AWS is advantageous.

Education

Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology.
